GLC & Lufthansa InTouch Inspire Future Aviators with Help Alliance

As part of our commitment to youth development and education, Global Load Control (GLC) recently partnered with Lufthansa InTouch and the Help Alliance to host 42 students from the SOS Children’s Village at our Cape Town office.

This visit was part of the Go Teach initiative – a global programme led by the Help Alliance, the Lufthansa Group’s non-profit organisation dedicated to creating opportunities for young people through education and social impact.

For many of the students, the world of aviation was entirely new. The day began with a warm introduction to GLC and our role in the aviation ecosystem, followed by small group office tours that showcased different departments and the people behind the operations.

The students asked insightful questions and showed genuine interest, and by the end of the day, several expressed a newfound passion for the industry, with a few even saying they could see themselves working at GLC in the future.

We are proud to be part of an initiative that opens doors and encourages young people to dream big. A heartfelt thank you to all GLC team members who helped make this event such a success.
