Last week, Global Load Control (GLC) gathered in Cape Town for its annual anniversary dinner, celebrating important team milestones and recognising colleagues who have dedicated many years to supporting complex airline operations around the world.
Set against magnificent views of Table Mountain and the Twelve Apostles, with the sun setting over the Atlantic Ocean, the evening provided a special opportunity to reflect on the people behind GLC’s operations and the experience that underpins the company’s services to airline partners worldwide.

During the evening, each colleague’s direct line manager presented their service award and a gift in recognition of their contribution to the organisation.

The evening also highlighted the remarkable depth of experience across the GLC team. Many of the managers presenting the awards have long-standing careers within the organisation themselves, with some colleagues having been part of the journey since the company’s launch in 2004 and others approaching two decades with the organisation.
