Position Tasks And Functions
Performance of weight & balance calculations for Lufthansa and GLC’s global customer airline base.
Issuance of documentation for the complete flight handling process, including loading instruction and load sheet.
Ensuring flights are handled and loaded according to all safety regulations.
Understanding and considering the individual customer requirements for every flight.
Ensuring the safe distribution of passengers and load.
Monitoring the correct loading and adherence to all safety limits.
Coordinating and communicating with various internal and external parties (shift managers, ramp agents, flight managers, pilots) involved in the flight handling process.
Reporting of all irregularities that occur during the flight handling process.
Ensuring safe and sufficient quality handovers.
Knowledge transfer and team work with other load control agents.
Living GLC’s safety management system and safety culture every day.
Requirements
For the English load control agent position: Upper-intermediate knowledge of the English language (B2) is a must.
For the German load control agent position: Knowledge of English as above PLUS basic knowledge of the German language (conversational, A2).
