GLC at the FMUG 34 Conference: Driving Innovation in Flight Management

From 6 to 8 May, Global Load Control (GLC) proudly attended the 34th Flight Management User Group (FMUG) Conference, hosted by Condor Flugdienst GmbH at their headquarters in Neu-Isenburg, near Frankfurt Airport.

Our Configuration Specialist, Beatrix Eickhoff, represented GLC at this valuable industry forum, joining a diverse group of airlines and technology leaders to explore the latest developments in the Flight Management (FM) ecosystem.

FMUG 34 provided a collaborative platform to discuss solutions that align closely with the services GLC delivers to support operational excellence. Key focus areas included:

  • Database and rule management

  • Secure user access and tailored operational control

  • Mobile implementation and support for training and ad-hoc flights

  • Integrated solutions for weight & balance and ground handling

These are areas where GLC not only contributes but excels, bringing decades of experience and a future-focused approach.

While GLC is widely recognised for its expertise in Amadeus Altea FM, we also have proven capability across multiple Departure Control Systems (DCS), including iPort, Ink, Wab2Go, Sabre, Kriscom, and Troja. This multi-system readiness ensures that we remain adaptable and prepared to support partners on any platform, including emerging solutions.

Our participation in FMUG 34 reinforced GLC’s commitment to continuous improvement, industry collaboration, and staying at the forefront of technological innovation in aviation.

A sincere thank you to Condor for the warm hospitality and to all contributors for the rich discussions that continue to shape the future of flight operations.
