The countdown is on – less than three weeks to go until the 26th GHI Annual Conference in Amsterdam (10–12 November). This is GHI’s biggest event of the year – and for Global Load Control (GLC), it’s one of the most important highlights in our calendar too.
Why this event matters
The GHI Annual Conference is a leading global forum for the ground handling and aviation services community, bringing together airline, airport, handler and technology leaders to exchange insights and shape the future of operations.
For GLC, the event is an ideal opportunity to showcase how we’re shaping the future of Remote Aviation Services – from Centralised Load Control (CLC) and RBC (Remote Business Centre), which streamlines airport check-in and ancillary services remotely to ease front-line pressure and improve passenger handling efficiency, to SSR (Special Service Requests), where our teams manage non-standard and high-value baggage items such as AVIH (animals), XBAG (excess baggage), SPEQ (sports equipment) and BULK (oversize), ensuring safe, compliant handling from end to end.
These services are core to our mission: enabling airline partners to achieve operational efficiency, safety, scalability and cost savings through high-quality remote delivery.
Autumn in Amsterdam: The perfect backdrop
This time of year, Amsterdam’s canals and autumn colours make it the perfect setting for meaningful conversations, new ideas and collaboration across the aviation community.
Our team: Markus Becker (Managing Director), Chanelle Fortune (Operational Enablement Executive) and Yolanda Haynes (Business Relationship Manager) – will be there representing GLC. We’ll be exhibiting, with a full schedule of meetings lined up with current partners and new prospects, exploring opportunities to strengthen collaborations and expand remote support capabilities for 2026 and beyond.
Connect with us
We’re looking forward to three days of reconnecting, collaborating, and sharing ideas with colleagues across the industry.
